I really feel for you when talking about reminding the client on "why they hired you" . I just had two similar experiences, and working with a client who provides honest and objective feedback is a dream come turn for the designer. The book looks fantastic! The colors really bring life to the images.

Well, Berry, I also have lots of examples where it wasn't possible to stick to my guns. The client is always right -- it just helps to have a client who trusts you.

absolutely!
Sticking to your guns SHOULD be how you do it, and yet, when approached by my folks, the word seems to bend towards the customer always being right.
Dang!
Rock and a hard place and I'm always broke.

berry connell's last blog post..It's the rest of the story of the Pink Castle (it's at the very end)
