This one totally made me think of my own father's ( Don Hunstein) photos of NYC from the 50's-60's, esp street life. One of his of Times Square from 1960 is on the cover of Bob Dylan's 'Chronicles', and the neon signs are great. I've always loved the photo.

So your uncle owns this great gallery huh?....we should talk! :) I wonder if he knows my dad.

Granville was renowned for its awesome neon lights but unfortunately much of the neon was lost to so called "modern development." There is a movement afoot to restore some of the signage (and Granville) to its former glory. Thank goodness Mr. Herzog captured it for posterity.</description>
