For those of us who came of age during women's lib in the 60s and 70s, it's both heartening and discouraging to see you grappling with many of the same issues we faced. There is no easy answer to the dilemma of being both a mother and a professional person. However, the new technology does a lot to enable you to be both. Congratulations on finding a way to make it work. In my day we wished for employers who were understanding and flexible in order to enable women to work and to be available to their children. It looks like you've found an excellent solution. How lucky for you and your employee. You have developed a model that many other businesses could follow.

My eyesight isn't what it used to be, Leslie. That's for sure.

Glad you're looking forward to my book! It'll be strange actually holding a copy.

Hi Leslie,

I hope both the kids are keeping well. Nice overview, and it's great you trust Sarah so much.

Is your blog-related announcement an impending type size increase? ;)
